Inspection Service Packages

Exterior

• Mailbox: pick up mail and place it inside the house.

• Check doors/fences/gates for signs of damage, forced entry, or vandalism.

• Entryway/Driveway: move newspapers, magazines, and small to medium-sized packages inside the house (weight limit 30 lbs.)

• Windows: visual inspection: break-ins, vandalism, weather damage, closed and secured.

• Garage: is car still parked and secured, is there any visual damage?

• Front/Back Yards: free of fallen trees, visual inspection of roof snow/weather damage.

• Check that exterior lighting is functioning properly, with no burned-out bulbs on the front porch.

Interior

• Heat/AC: visual check that the system appears to be operating properly.

• Wi-Fi modem: confirm it's working; reboot if necessary.

• Water Heater: confirm hot water is available at sinks.

• Walls/Ceilings: visual inspection for water damage, staining, or discoloration.

• Run faucets, showers, and toilets to make sure they work properly.

• Note any unusual or strong odors in the home, including gas, and report immediately.

• Refrigerator/freezer: is the icemaker on or off? Empty/off in pre-departure inspection.

• Breaker Box: visually check for and report any tripped breakers.

• Kitchen: any perishable food left unattended or incorrectly stored?

• Garbage disposal: run garbage disposal to prevent failure.

• Check if the garage door opens.

Appliances and heating/cooling sources are only visually inspected for proper functioning, not for maintenance or repair. We can turn appliances on or off based on customer preference.
